Canon Sure Shot 76 Zoom is a high-performing compact 35mm film camera, introduced in the mid-1990s as an upgrade to Canon’s popular Sure Shot series. It features a sharp 2x zoom lens (38–76mm, f/4.2–7.8) with an aspherical element that reduces optical distortion and an advanced 3-point AiAF system for accurate autofocus, even when the subject is off-center.
Its user-friendly design includes a large, clear real-image zoom viewfinder and an intuitive mode dial with multiple shooting options. Whether you’re using the auto flash, red-eye reduction, or flash-off mode, the camera adjusts seamlessly for varied lighting conditions. The self-timer and built-in flash extend its versatility, while automatic film loading, advance and rewind make operation effortless.
Despite its compact body, the Sure Shot 76 Zoom feels solid in hand. Its retractable lens keeps the silhouette flat and pocketable. The camera runs on a single CR123A battery and is capable of shooting approximately 17 rolls of 24-exposure film with standard use.
