Fototeka began as a space for film cameras and gradually grew around the people who use them.
Today, it works as an independent platform for printed editions, curated projects, community walks and carefully selected photographic objects.
Fototeka is shaped by Alex Iacob and Isabela Văduva, two visual practitioners based in Romania. Since 2019, their practice has moved between photography, independent publishing, urban exploration, visual research, storytelling and projects built around communities.
