Olympus AF-1 Mini, also known as the Infinity Mini in the US, is a compact, weatherproof 35mm film camera released in 1995. It blends minimalist design with solid performance, making it one of the most stylish and reliable point-and-shoots of its era. Designed to sit between the beginner-friendly Trip series and the premium μ[mju:] range, this model carries many of Olympus’s signature features in a sleek and durable form.
It’s equipped with the same sharp 35mm f/3.5 Zuiko lens found on the μ[mju:]-1, ensuring excellent image quality with vibrant colors and impressive contrast. The AF-1 Mini offers fully automatic exposure and focus, with a focus range from 0.5m to infinity and a handy focus lock feature. Its built-in flash includes multiple modes — Auto, Red-eye Reduction, Fill-in, and Off — making it adaptable for both daylight and low-light photography.
The camera supports DX-coded film (ISO 50–3200), with ISO 100 as the default for non-DX rolls. Film loading and winding are fully motorized, and the built-in self-timer (12 seconds) makes it great for group shots or self-portraits. The weatherproof body offers extra protection against splashes, perfect for travel or street photography.
This particular unit is in perfect working condition, with only minor cosmetic marks. The only issue is that the battery door doesn’t click fully closed — a small piece of tape would easily fix it. Otherwise, everything functions exactly as it should.
